RedBeam Asset Tracking comes in both standard and mobile editions. The standard edition of the fixed asset software allows for data collection using cabled barcode scanners attached to PC workstations. The mobile editions allow for data collection using cabled barcode scanners attached to PC workstations as well as the ability to collect data on scanner-enabled mobile computers.
The RFID version of the software is a practical application allowing for data collection using RFID-enabled mobile computers, eliminating the need for line-of-site barcode scanning. This is a complete fixed asset database with the ability to collect data on RFID-enabled mobile computers. The software includes unlimited RFID reader licenses for compatible mobile computer models. You can keep asset records up to date and periodically take a physical inventory of assets. Data fields include RFID tag ID, barcode ID, location, department, maintenance, purchasing, warranty, lease, depreciation, information technology and 50 other user definable fields.
These powerful fixed asset tracking solutions support Windows XP, Server 2003, Server 2008, Vista and Windows 7.
