Magellan 34xxVSi

The Magellan™ 34xxVSi Series combines high-performance imaging, reliability and ease of integration in a compact single-plane scanner.

Available as the Magellan 3410VSi and Magellan 3450VSi, the series is designed for retail POS, pharmacy, self-checkout and component verification applications. The 3410VSi provides cost-effective imaging performance, while the 3450VSi delivers enhanced processing power and industry-leading throughout for demanding environments.

Featuring advanced decoding technology, solid-state electronics and a large reading area, the Magellan 34xxVSi scanners provide fast and intuitive reading of 1D, 2D and Digimarc® barcodes. Their durable design withstands spills, rough daily use and ESD events up to 25 kV, ensuring long-term reliability in busy retail environments.

The compact form factor enables easy installation on counters, walls and self-checkout systems. An auxiliary USB port supports the addition of a customer service scanner, while integration with compatible EAS systems helps ensure tags are deactivated only after a successful barcode read. The Magellan 3410VSi can also be powered directly through a standard USB host connection, simplifying installation.

High-performance imaging, custom optics and adaptive illumination provide comfortable all-day operation and reliable barcode capture, even on challenging labels. Good-read confirmation is provided through audible beeps, LEDs and Datalogic’s patented Green Spot technology.

The Magellan 3410VSi is also available as an OEM version, offering the same electronics and optics in a compact package designed for kiosk and embedded applications.
