Diamond Technologies has serial gateways for most major industrial fieldbus network protocols. These gateways provide a bridge from serial protocols onto the fieldbus of your choice. Supported fieldbus networks include Profibus, DeviceNet, CANopen, LonWorks, Modbus Plus, ControlNet, Ethernet, and more.

The serial gateway can connect almost any product with a serial RS-232/422/485 communication interface to Fieldbus and Industrial Ethernet networks. The gateway performs an intelligent conversion between the serial protocol and the chosen industrial network.

Gateways come with easy to use Windows configuration software and programming cable. Once you have completed your configuration for one network, you are able to re-use this configuration for all other supported Industrial Networks.
